He’s also the best selling novelist that has published 14 books. He is also own a publiser and a book store in the centre of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. His book has been made into Television Series and produced by top film production and Television in Cambodia.

Manith owned a book store and a publisher in Phnom Penh which is only focus on producing novel only.

He started as a novelist in 2016. 9 years in the field, he has published 20 titles and with 15 titles with his original work credited as an author.

9 years of making revolution in Book industry, He made reading great again along with amazing cambodian writers who fights to make a change in publishing. His book has sold about 200,000 copies through the years and some of those books were made into films.

Beside producing novel, He also has developed screenplay and teaching younger writer to pursue their dream job as a writer.

Slanhseavphov in khmer means Love Books. Slanhseavphov book store was founded in 2018 with Manith as a managing director.

This is the book store that only sell Khmer writers work and novel only.

Manith was invited by Brown Coffee to host a Coffee/Book/Music event with his fan in Kampot Province during their new store opening in december, 2023.

Slanhseavphov book store has launched their own event called ចៃប្រលោមលោក or Bookworms to engage with cambodian readers by storytelling, Music, writers meet & greet, discounted books, book accessories promotional, snack and drink.

This is more than just a book club. We talked about books that we read and writers could tease some of their release in the future to their fans.

My Mother’s hand is a drama/comedy short film that talked about the life of a mother as a tailor and a son that inherits his mother’s skill and business as a tailor through the year of 2009 to 2015.

The first ever Cambodian musical shortfilm, directed and written by Manith.

The story inspired by Manith true life events and a breakout song he released in 2013 titled “មិត្តចេះប្រចណ្ឌ/A Jealousy Friend” which he talked about how he fell in love with his best friend.

The Romcom short film followed by the life of a group of friend as workers in a coffee shop. Bora (Manith) still has a crush on his long time crush Minea (Phin Sodalis). Unfortunately, Bora got tricked by a guy who also has a crush on Minea. He asked Bora to write bad habits of Minea everyday for 10 days with no more and no less than 50 words. No one knows Minea better than Bora since they are best friend.

Furthermore, Minea starring by Phin Sodalis which is Manith’s real life crush and best friend that mentioned in a song title “មិត្តចេះប្រចណ្ឌ/A Jealousy Friend” in 2013 that also inspired this short film.
